Playing a music pack (NB: packs now auto set)
“Play Trade pack” “Play Exploration pack” “Play Demo pack” “Play The Explorers” “Play Angel Elements” “Play Triangulum pack” “play citizen of the stars
“Update VMX Please” – Starts the auto update process to upgrade to the next version of VMX.
1) “Play all music packs”, 2) “Play all music packs and variants”, 3) “play all variants”

Hybrid Audio Blocks
“Play audio blocks” – Fires up the Audio Blocks procedural system
“Shuffle blocks” – Shuffles the Audio Blocks layer sequence and auto replays
“Play original”, “Play key up”, “Replace lead instrument”, “Remove vocals”, “Remove percussion”, “Replace percussion”
“Play all variants” – Plays all music pack tracks with a random variant for each.
“Play music” – Requests the pack to play music in the currently selected mode
Context mode cooldowns
“Enable cooldown mode” enables enqueuing of tracks so that they finish playing before moving onto next event
Context mode is automatically enabled upon VMX startup (unless you issue a different playmode command i.e “play music”, “remove vocals” which would disable context mode) after which you would need to say “enable context mode” to re-enable context mode.
“Disable context mode” switches game triggered soundtrack off
“Context mode user playlists” switches context mode to user playlists
“Context mode combination” combines both playlists and music packs in one mode
“Context mode status” gives status of context mode journal and whether context mode playlists or music packs (soundtrack) are set
Note: You may prefix the word ‘VMX’ before any of these commands:
“Next track”, “Previous track”, “Go to track <number>”, “Stop music”, “pause music”, “Fast forward”, “Rewind”
You can control and set volume a variety of ways using voice.
“Volume <number between 1-100> percent” i.e “volume 50 percent” to specify a volume %.
“Volume up”, “Volume down” to nudge volume up or down
“Volume mute” and “Volume unmute” to mute/unmute
“Current volume” to request readout of current volume setting
Notes: Attenuator automatically drops volume whenever voice feedback plays. Your preferred volume setting is automatically saved for next session.
“Current track” – Requests track number, reads out track name, time remaining within the track & which variant is playing (if applicable)
“Current status” – Reads out whether repeat(loop mode) of shuffle (random) are set, plus in playlists tells you which track of how many are playing.
Additional pack modes:
“Play internet radio” – Switches to internet radio mode
“Playlist <number>” – Plays the specified playlist number
“Peek playlist <number>” – Plays a snippet of a playlist & reads out the album name
Advanced playback control:
“Enable/Disable shuffle mode” – Switches shuffle (random) on or off
“Enable/Disable repeat mode” – Switches repeat on or off
“Enable/Disable sound effects” – switches on/off sound effects (i.e tape rewind sounds)
“Enable/Disable voice attack listening” – switches on/off the auto toggle of Voice Attack listening/not listening when VMX is speaking to you
